History comes to life with historical stories about the lives of black musicians. Storytellers can appear in costume, and let the musicians tell their own fascinating stories! Suitable for children 7-11 years (Key Stage 2).
NEW! Black Classical Discussion
An opportunity for young people to use their skills to discuss issues relating to the black musical experience. Suitable for young people 11-14 years (Key Stage 3).
Note: Storytelling and Discussion programmes are currently only available in the south of England, covering West Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Berkshire and London. For all other areas, please email info@blackclassics.co.uk to discuss your requirements.
Black Classical Resource
The project assists and collaborates with local authorities, education and cultural interest groups as a resource to assist in organising and delivering your own events.
